DJ Sheep’s preferred joystick for shmups focuses on a short throw for execution of twitch movements required in avoiding bullet volleys with small margins for error. Interestingly, both short throw spacers are fitted to further increase severity of the reduction in shaft movement. The octogate provides unrestricted equalised movement in all directions which is advantageous for successful bullet navigation techniques. The accessory colours selected complement the legendary Taito Egret II candy cabinet aesthetic.
