Murakumo Arts Lightweight aluminium shaft for JLF/JLX

A lightweight custom joystick shaft for Sanwa JLF/JLX levers, manufactured by Murakumo Arts.

A supremely unique product for upgrading and influencing shaft performance for weight optimisation and grip.

Available in two (2) styles: regular (flat head) fitment requiring an e-clip and industry first, hex head fitment (see images for extra description).

Weight reduction has been achieved by numerous incremental manufacturing decisions such as shortening the threaded area for balltop attachment, changing of the material to aluminium and altering the shape of the shaft length via a cut-out segment.

As a result, this aluminium shaft weighs approximately 8 grams versus the standard Sanwa JLF/JLX shaft (JL-S9F) of 27g. This effectively reduces the weight to about 1/3 of the default part. This significant weight reduction permits reduced input recoil and permits faster return to neutral.

Utilising this shaft with a lightweight ball/bat top will allow the joystick to share similarities in performance as if a strong spring was fitted. We encourage experimentation and testing with this product to achieve the perfect balance of movement characteristics for the user.

In addition, a clear shaft cover (ie. Sanwa JLF-CD) can be fitted to this shaft and unique prints can be affixed around the circular shape to personalise and customise the appearance (**Murakumo Arts has provided unique inserts for full customer usage, attached to this group of images for this listing**)
