Sanwa JL-SRB Shaft (with rubber bearing and grease)

The latest upgrade to the JLF/JLX series of joysticks by Sanwa Denshi involves optimising the smoothness of shaft traversal, the stability of inputs and the sound profile of gameplay. 

Utilising newly designed rubber components such as the actuator and shaft bearing on a specialised shaft, this has led to the reduction in noise as well as vibration. Users will find quarter and half circular motions to be the most positively impacted by the upgrade. In practise, the motion will glide along the restrictor gate more optimally and increase confidence in inputs.

Users can opt to further enhance the silent operation of the joystick, as suggested by Sanwa Denshi, with the silent microswitch PCB: Sanwa JLX silent TPML-MA PCB – Close Quarters Battle Arcade

(Note - included with this purchase is a small container of PTFE rubber grease to re-lubricate 3-5 joysticks)

- Included in this kit: JLF-SRB shaft, rubber bearing, rubber actuator, 2 x washers, 2 x e-clips and 1 x vial of PTFE rubber grease

- Important notes from Sanwa Denshi:

- Specialist rubber grease is required to be applied to the rubber surfaces of the components on or before initial installation (note: included with this listing).

- Do not apply grease directly to the microswitch/s as this may cause malfunctions.

- For optimal performance, re-apply grease to the rubber components annually.

- In certain environments and during certain conditions, the operation of the joystick may feel stiffer over time due to the inherent nature of rubber components.
